Senior Accountant (CA Inter)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant (CA Inter) with a strong accounting and audit background to join our team in Behala, Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing financial operations, audits, and statutory compliance, and should be capable of leading a team effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities (Tentative)

• Supervise and oversee daily functions of the Accounts and Audit teams.
• Implement and manage accounting systems and processes for improved efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct and review stock audits and internal audits periodically.
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Prepare financial statements and support external auditors with all necessary documentation and clarifications.
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams across Accounts, Finance, Audit, and Costing.
• Provide both strategic insights and functional direction to the finance department.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• CA Inter-qualified with relevant work experience.
• Residing in or near Behala, Kolkata (mandatory).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and team management skills.
• Familiarity with accounting software and regulatory frameworks.

Added advantage: Candidate who stays in Behala.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
