Senior Accountant

Role Definition

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company's finances. Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification will be a plus.

Experience

Minimum 6-8 years as an Accounts Manager or similar role. Experience in a CA Firm will be preferred. Immediate Joiners will be given priority.

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Tally

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Preparation and filing of GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-2A/2B, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), ITR, TDS returns etc.
• Processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
• Bills preparation according to PO and allotment of PO numbers.
• Preparation and submission of weekly/monthly reports.
• Preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Assist with other accounting projects

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
