Senior Account Sales Engineer

As a Sales Manager based in Bilbao, you will play a crucial role in forecasting and closing vision solutions opportunities with End Users, Partners, and OEMs to meet the quota goal. Your primary responsibility will be to demonstrate Cognex products effectively to customers, secure large strategic opportunities, and follow up on sales leads. You will need to schedule customer visits, actively seek out significant opportunities, and collaborate with counterparts from other territories on integrated opportunities. In addition to customer interactions, you will be expected to follow up on customer inquiries, understand system requirements, and effectively differentiate the Cognex solution. Your role will also involve participating in trade shows and marketing events, coordinating evaluations with the Applications Engineering team, and maintaining project information in the Sales Book. The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of sales performance in the automation or a similar industry. Experience in a solutions sales environment and the ability to consistently deliver desired results using a defined sales process are essential. Proficiency in PC operations, a working knowledge of MS Windows applications, and the ability to work independently are necessary due to the 40% travel requirement.
