The position based in Bilbao involves various essential functions to be performed by the successful candidate. You will be responsible for forecasting and closing vision solutions opportunities with End Users, Partners, and OEMs to achieve the quota goal. Utilizing the Cognex sales process effectively, you will demonstrate products to customers and secure large strategic opportunities. It will be crucial to follow up on sales leads, schedule customer visits, and actively seek out significant opportunities. Customer visits in a solution sales environment should be conducted efficiently, and collaboration with counterparts from other territories on integrated opportunities is essential. Aside from customer interactions, you will be expected to follow up on customer inquiries, comprehend system requirements, and effectively differentiate the Cognex solution. Participation in trade shows and other marketing events will also be part of your responsibilities. Coordinating evaluations with the Applications Engineering team and maintaining up-to-date project information in the Sales Book are other important tasks to be carried out. The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of sales performance in the automation or a similar industry. Operating in a solutions sales environment is a key requirement, along with the ability to consistently deliver desired results using a defined sales process. Proficiency in PC operations and a working knowledge of MS Windows applications are necessary. The role entails 40% travel, and the ability to work independently is also crucial. In terms of qualifications, a Technical Degree or equivalent work experience is required. A proven sales track record, exceeding sales targets, and experience in selling technical products to all levels of an organization are prerequisites. Additionally, experience in selling vision products is preferred for this position.,
