Senior Account Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Account Manager (PR) at a Global Public Relations agency in Mumbai, you will be responsible for independently managing accounts, projects, budgets, and teams. Your expertise will bring new business opportunities, industry insights, and value to both the firm and clients in the Travel/Corporate Entertainment verticals. Key Responsibilities: - Support the director/SVP as the primary point of contact - Manage a larger number of accounts or clients with larger budgets compared to an Account Manager (AM) - Develop comprehensive client and new-business plan drafts - Identify and secure new business, including growing existing accounts - Lead smaller scale new-business pitch preparation and presentations - Communicate logistics and tactics to the team - Define and adjust strategies as needed - Provide senior-level client counsel and act as a senior strategist - Conduct client meetings and presentations independently - Monitor account profitability and oversee account staff - Empower account staff to enhance their professional skills - Write and edit client materials with a good understanding of media and influencer engagement - Build firm visibility through networking opportunities - Participate in or lead committees - Demonstrate industry-specific expertise - Uphold core values and stay connected to industry trends - Assist in professional development programs for the team Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related field - 7+ years of experience in public relations, marketing, or related fields - Strong follow-through and execution skills - Solution-oriented mindset with openness to new methodologies - Excellent writing and presentation skills - Strategic thinking abilities,
