Senior Academic Counselor

The Academic Counsellor at ETI Educom will serve as the first point of contact for prospective students. Her primary responsibility will be to guide candidates about the various programs offered by ETI Educom, ensuring they understand the value, scope, and career opportunities associated with each program. The counsellor must possess strong technical knowledge of the courses, demonstrate confidence in student engagement, and excel in communication to effectively convince and support candidates in making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students about the courses and career opportunities available at ETI Educom.
• Provide detailed guidance on technical programs such as Digital Marketing, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Security, Programming, Networking, and other technology-oriented courses.
• Engage with walk-ins, telephonic, and online inquiries, converting them into successful admissions.
• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions, presentations, and Q&A sessions to address candidate concerns.
• Maintain updated knowledge about all programs, curriculum structures, and future career prospects.
• Build rapport and trust with students and parents, guiding them toward the most suitable program based on their interests and goals.
• Meet admission targets set by the management.
• Maintain records of student interactions, enquiries, and conversions.
• Collaborate with faculty and the marketing team to ensure smooth communication and consistent messaging about ETI Educom’s offerings.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT programs (Digital Marketing, Cyber Security, Programming, Networking, Web Development, Data Science, etc.).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and Punjabi (preferred).
• Persuasive Ability: Confidence and skill in convincing students and parents about program benefits.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with students, identify their needs, and provide relevant solutions.
• Presentation Skills: Capable of delivering engaging counselling sessions in both group and individual settings.
• Adaptability: Ability to stay updated with industry trends and ETI Educom’s evolving program portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Education, IT, Management, or related field preferred).
• Prior experience in student counselling, academic guidance, or a related role is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of computer applications, internet, and digital tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
