Role Overview: As a Senior Engineering Manager at STYLI, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end engineering strategy and execution for the marketplace eCommerce platform. Your leadership will cover multiple domains including Customer Experience, Martech, Fulfillment & Logistics, Marketplace Systems, and Platform Engineering. Your role will involve driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence to support rapid business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the overarching engineering vision in alignment with business objectives. - Drive innovation in product and platform engineering to deliver solutions across all business domains. - Partner with the executive team to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and set long-term technical strategies. - Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and ownership across the engineering organization. Domain Leadership: Customer Experience & Martech: - Ensure seamless, personalized, and engaging customer journeys. - Drive Martech innovations including loyalty programs, gamification, personalization, and influencer/CRM applications. Fulfillment & Logistics: - Build scalable systems for order management, WMS/3PL integrations, and optimize delivery pipelines. Platform Engineering: - Build and maintain foundational systems for scalability, reliability, and efficiency. - Lead DevOps practices and ensure high system availability. Security & Compliance: - Implement secure development practices and compliance frameworks. - Oversee threat detection and incident response protocols to minimize security risks. Data Platform: - Architect and maintain scalable data infrastructure for advanced analytics and real-time decision-making. Observability & Scalability: - Build monitoring systems to ensure platform performance and scalability. Testing Automation: - Establish automated testing frameworks to ensure quality at scale. Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor a team of engineering managers, principal engineers, and solution engineers. - Promote a collaborative culture and empower teams to innovate and excel. - Set clear objectives for engineering teams and track progress with key results (OKRs). - Partner with HR to attract, retain, and develop engineering talent. - Organize hackathons to showcase innovation and foster collaboration. Qualifications: Technical Expertise: - 15+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles. - Proven experience in building and scaling systems in eCommerce, logistics, or platform-based businesses. - Deep understanding of cloud-based architecture, microservices, and APIs. - Strong expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and platform reliability. - Familiarity with compliance standards and security best practices. - Knowledge of data platforms, analytics, and observability tools. Leadership and Collaboration: - Demonstrated ability to lead large engineering organizations across multiple domains. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience in managing budgets, vendor relationships, and external partners.,
