You will be responsible for API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or automated scripts. Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Katalon is an essential part of the role. Conducting cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI testing is also a key aspect of the job. Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps and collaborating closely with developers for bug resolution will be part of your responsibilities. You will need to participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and story grooming. Collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines is crucial. Continuous evaluation and improvement of testing tools, strategies, and frameworks are expected. A good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile development methodology is necessary. Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, and defect tracking tools such as JIRA is beneficial. Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation is required, along with strong communication and analytical skills.
