Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of integrity, be alert at all times, and respond quickly to potential threats or emergencies. Key Responsibilities: Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons. Guard against theft and maintain security by inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Operate surveillance systems and other security equipment. Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous manner. Follow company protocols in case of emergencies, including fire or medical emergencies. Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary. Requirements: Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid security license or certification (if required by state/local law). Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols. Good observational and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic first aid training (preferred).
