Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

Security & Safety Operations

• Monitor and patrol hospital premises regularly to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other security breaches.
• Control entry and exit points, ensuring proper verification of staff, visitors, and vendors.
• Enforce hospital security policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Access & Crowd Management

• Manage visitor movement and maintain decorum in sensitive areas such as ICUs, wards, OPDs, and emergency areas.
• Prevent overcrowding and ensure compliance with visiting hours and hospital rules.
• Assist in managing queues and crowd control during peak hours or emergencies.

Incident Handling

• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, or disturbances.
• Report incidents, suspicious activities, and violations to supervisors and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in handling medico-legal cases (MLC) as per hospital protocol.

Emergency Support

• Support emergency response during fire, evacuation, medical emergencies, or disasters.
• Coordinate with fire safety teams, local police, or emergency services when required.
• Ensure emergency exits, fire-fighting equipment, and security systems are unobstructed and functional.

Asset & Property Protection

• Safeguard hospital assets, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Monitor CCTV systems and report any irregularities.
• Prevent loss or damage to hospital property.

Coordination & Assistance

• Coordinate with nursing, administration, and housekeeping teams for smooth operations.
• Provide guidance and assistance to patients and visitors courteously.
• Maintain discipline while being polite, alert, and professional at all times.

• Basic knowledge of fire safety and emergency procedures
• Physical fitness and alertness

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum education: 12th Pass
• Prior experience as a Security Officer / Guard preferred
• Ex-servicemen or trained security personnel will be an added advantage

Working Conditions

• Rotational shifts, including night duty, weekends, and holidays
• Standing and patrolling for extended hour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
