Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Google SecOps (Chronicle) to lead and support our SIEM Transformation initiative. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing a next-generation security monitoring and operations platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with global SOC, IT, and cloud teams to build scalable and efficient detection, response, and automation frameworks leveraging Google SecOps and GCP capabilities.

Your tasks

  • Leading the architecture and design of the SIEM solution using Google SecOps
  • Defining technical and security requirements for the SIEM transformation program
  • Collaborating with SOC, Security Operations, and IT infrastructure teams to ensure data integration
  • Developing and maintaining data ingestion, normalization, and enrichment pipelines
  • Establishing detection, response, and automation frameworks within Google SecOps
  • Supporting migration from legacy SIEM platforms and creating architecture documentation

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Security Architect, SIEM Engineer, or SOC Solution Designer
  • Hands-on experience in Google SecOps / Google Chronicle design and configuration
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, and Security Analytics principles
  • Experience with data modeling, log management, and threat detection
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO 27001 frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Google Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, or SABSA certifications
  • Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Terraform)
  • Background in SOC modernization or SIEM migration programs
