Securities Operations Specialist

As a Securities Operations Specialist at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for participating in low to moderately complex lifecycle support initiatives within Securities Operations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and analyzing basic or tactical functional operational tasks, exercising independent judgment related to low-to-medium risk deliverables - Providing information, collaborating, and consulting with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals - Resolving escalated issues within the scope of responsibility in Security Operations - Researching business risks, providing input into policies, enhancing customer satisfaction, and reviewing time-sensitive documents and transaction requests - Supporting the overall effectiveness of the team by monitoring daily securities and cash-related production work - Contributing and leading implementation of projects, new or revised processes, and procedures that require coordination among operation teams - Performing daily Trade surveillance related reconciliation for CIB Products - Reviewing Trade surveillance alerts and conducting analysis of trading and market activity for various asset classes - Analyzing risk across markets by monitoring price/volume movement in the securities using surveillance application - Ensuring that surveillance reviews are performed properly from a qualitative and timeliness perspective - Participating in periodic risk assessments and identifying gaps within the process - Leading and driving projects from a surveillance perspective - Preparing MI reporting and ensuring accurate & timely reporting to all stakeholders - Identifying, facilitating, and implementing process improvement ideas to improve efficiency - Working closely with Oversight, Technology, and Production Support team to resolve issues/breaks Qualifications required for this role include: - 2+ years of Securities Operations experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education - Bachelor's degree in commerce or master's in business administration with a finance stream - Prior trade surveillance experience with a minimum of 8 years of overall experience - Experience with SMARTS, Actimize, or similar Trade surveillance systems is a plus - Experience with navigation and sourcing of information in Bloomberg/public sources - Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment - Detail-oriented, results-driven, with effective oral and written communication skills Please note that this job is located in Bangalore and the posting end date is 18 Sep 2025.
