Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure material delivery to customers and warehouses in fulfilment of customer requirements (Domestic, Export & Import).

Key Responsibility

Monitor dispatches from plants to warehouses & customers (Domestic & Export/import)
Interface with Sales
Follow-ups with internal departments and communication with warehouse team as well as custom brokers/freight forwarders
Manage MIT Cum Export/import Tracker
Regular tracking & information flow and timely escalation in case of unexpected delay in adherence of customer delivery requirement.
Support customer, sales, FG team and customer complaint cell wherever is require
Handle all external and internal escalations related to logistics department.
check & update freight contracts and approve additional/unforeseen

charges

Major KRA

Ontime dispatch and delivery to customer (Domestic, Export & Import).
Zero customer complaint.
Zero premium freight
Monitor and ensure SLA adherence by logistics partners.
Automation & digitization of process.
Co-ordination & smooth operation.

Educational Qualifications / Technical Training/ Certifications

Post graduate/MBA , BE in Mechanical will be added advantage

12-15 years in Logistics management

Functional Skill

Knowledge of FTP, DGFT & Customs Knowledge of international trade and routing Knowledge of inco-terms Knowledge of shipping lines and airlines Knowledge of SAP, MS excel, word & power point
