The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3000+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy to date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. How You’ll Make An Impact Preparation of design of Control and Protection solutions for EHV/HV/MV switchgears (GIS and AIS). Preparation of CT, VT sizing calculations. Preparation of electrical interlock logics for switchgears (bay level as well as substation level) Able to propose / review protection and control schemes various power system configurations. Prepare interface drawings for substation equipment’s such as power transformers, GIS, Telecom systems etc. Able to select protection, control & communication devices and prepare base design document. Prepare requirement specification for AC / DC systems. MCB selection, AC /DC board sizing, Battery and Aux transformer sizing calculations. Prepare Control cable schedule, LV power cable sizing calculations. Your Background Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems or equivalent.
