Summary of the Role

As an SEO Intern, you'll work alongside experienced digital marketers to improve website visibility through keyword research, on-page optimization, backlink building, and performance analysis.

Success in this role means actively applying your SEO basics, showing improvement in tasks over time, and demonstrating consistent learning and initiative.

This role plays a key part in supporting our overall marketing strategy and helping us grow our online presence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to support content and SEO strategies
• Assist in on-page optimization (meta tags, headings, internal linking, etc.)
• Help with off-page tasks like link building and directory submissions
• Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush
• Support the creation of SEO reports and documentation
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm updates
• Collaborate with content and web development teams as needed

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts (keywords, meta tags, backlinks, etc.)
• Passion for learning and growing in digital marketing
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication in English
• Ability to work independently with time management
• Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush is a plus (not mandatory)
• No formal degree required – just a learner's mindset and commitment
