Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Scrum Master for Infrastructure Automation Teams at VGK Academy, located in Mysore with some work from home flexibility. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating sprint planning, leveraging analytical skills to drive continuous improvement, communicating effectively with team members, refining user stories, and supporting software development processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Agile experience, including 3+ years dedicated to infrastructure and DevOps teams
• Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SAFe, and hybrid models tailored to networking and platform teams
• Proficiency in Jira, GitHub Projects, Ansible, Terraform, AWS/GCP/Azure, Python/Bash scripting
• Sprint Planning and User Stories skills
• Analytical Skills
• A proven record of coordinating across TPMs, engineers, and architects to drive delivery in complex, hardware-software hybrid environments
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools and practices
• Previous experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
  

As Scrum Master Should support

• Full-cycle Agile facilitation: sprint planning, standups, retros, and review
• Cross-team alignment on initiatives like IaC automation, cloud connectivity, and network transformation
• Impediment resolution and dependency tracking (e.g., access provisioning, vendor management)
• Building visibility using metrics (velocity, lead time, etc.) via Jira/GitHub dashboards
• Driving psychological safety and high accountability across teams
