As a Scientist in the Wet Chemical Lab (Food Analysis) at our company, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the laboratory. Your main responsibilities will include: - Calibration, uncertainty calculation, and preparation of requests for purchase of standards, chemicals, glass wares, and inspection/clearance of chemicals and reagents received. - Preparation of work instructions and SOPs for instruments and equipment. - Environmental monitoring of the Food & chemical laboratory. - Maintenance of log books and standardization of titrimetric solutions. - Participation in ILC & PT Programmes with excellent testing skills. - Validation of new methods of analysis with supporting documentation. - Carrying out different wet analysis in various food matrices as per regulatory bodies and customer specifications. - Performing chemical tests on various food products such as Crude Fibre in Animal Feed, Sulphur Dioxide in Cocoa Powder, Amylose Content in Rice, and more. Qualifications Required: - M-tech/M.Sc in Food Technology or Organic Chemistry. - Experience of 2-5 years in a NABL-accredited Laboratory. - Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in food technology. - Excellent skills in computer operation and analysis. - Strong detailed and organized digital and written documentation skills. - Time management, self-motivation, and ability to multitask and prioritize. - Top presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently, solve problems, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
