Scientific Medical Writer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research of scientific literature, clinical trials, real-world evidence, and medical data to develop accurate, evidence-based content.
• Analyze patient data, clinical datasets, and study outcomes to derive insights and support scientific narratives, manuscripts, and presentations.
• Develop and author scientific medical content, including manuscripts, abstracts, review articles, case studies, book chapters, and medical questionnaires.
• Support article publication by drafting, editing, formatting, and coordinating submissions in line with journal guidelines and peer-review requirements.
• Create high-quality scientific slide decks for conferences, advisory boards, medical education programs, and internal/external scientific communications.
• Simplify complex scientific concepts into engaging formats such as articles, blogs, infographics, and digital medical content.
• Design and visually enhance content using PowerPoint, Canva, and other design tools, ensuring scientific accuracy and strong visual storytelling.
• Develop content for Healthcare organizations, Pharmaceutical companies, and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), aligned with therapeutic area strategies and compliance standards.
• Ensure all content adheres to ethical, regulatory, and publication guidelines (e.g., GCP, authorship standards, and referencing requirements).
• Collaborate with medical, analytics, and marketing teams to integrate data-driven insights into scientific communications.
• Review, proofread, and quality-check all deliverables to ensure clarity, consistency, and scientific integrity.
• Stay updated with emerging medical research, publication trends, and advancements across therapeutic areas.

Candidate Profile:

• Education in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in scientific/medical writing, including manuscript and article development.
• Experience in data interpretation and analysis related to patient data or clinical research.
• Expertise in creating scientific presentations and slide decks.
• Experience supporting peer-reviewed publications and journal submissions.
• High proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva, and visualization tools.
• Excellent written and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex data clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
