Position: School Counsellor

School : The Ardee School - Goa

Location: North - Goa

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled School Counsellor to support the well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with Coordinators, Mentors and Parents while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counselling to students on emotional, behavioral, social, and academic concerns.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all student interactions, records, and personal information.
• Identify students requiring support and create structured intervention plans.
• Assist with conflict resolution, stress management, peer issues, and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and parents when necessary
• Maintain secure, confidential documentation and counselling reports.
• Facilitate referrals to external specialists when required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology / Counselling / Child Psychology
• 2–3 years of experience working with Students in a school setting.
• Strong communication, empathy, and crisis-management skills.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality.
