Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented School Content Creator to produce engaging content that reflects the vision, values, and achievements of our school. This role involves creating text, photos, videos, and digital materials to promote the school’s activities, achievements, and educational philosophy across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in storytelling, social media management, and visual design, with a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Develop and produce engaging content (articles, social media posts, videos, reels, infographics, newsletters) that highlight school activities, events, and achievements.
• Capture high-quality photos and videos during school events, classroom activities, and special projects.
• Write clear, appealing, and grammatically correct copy for various platforms.

Social Media & Digital Presence

• Manage and update the school’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Plan and execute content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting.
• Monitor engagement metrics and respond to audience comments/messages.

Collaboration & Event Coverage

• Work closely with teachers, students, and the school management to gather stories, updates, and announcements.
• Attend and cover school events, competitions, exhibitions, and celebrations for real-time updates.
• Coordinate with the design and marketing team to ensure brand consistency.

Design & Editing

• Create visually appealing graphics, posters, and digital flyers for school programs and announcements.
• Edit photos and videos to maintain a high-quality standard.
• Ensure all content aligns with the school’s tone, values, and image.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in content creation, photography, videography, and social media management.
• Strong writing and editing skills in English.
• Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
• Knowledge of social media trends, analytics, and engagement strategies.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a school environment.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the education sector or working with children.
• Ability to script and produce short video stories or interviews.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
