Job Opening: School Accountant Location: CBSE School, Kengeri,Kanakpura Road, Bengaluru School Type: CBSE Affiliated Joining: Immediate / As per availability Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day school accounts, fee collections, and banking transactions. Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and vouchers. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and support external/internal audits. Handle payroll, staff reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS). Ensure compliance with CBSE and government financial regulations. Monitor school budgets, expense tracking, and cost optimization. Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and school leadership for financial planning. Assist in managing fee-related queries from parents and ensure timely collections. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred). Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an accountant (school experience preferred). Proficiency in Tally, MS Office (especially Excel), and accounting software . Knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI , and statutory school financial requirements. Attention to detail, integrity, and strong organizational skills. Good communication skills to handle queries and reports professionally.
