Translate wireframes, prototypes, and UX flows into responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces. Optimize applications for speed and scalability. Maintain and improve reusable front-end components and libraries. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and best practices. Our work informs design decisions through coded prototypes, and help make the user experience more consistent through component libraries. We streamline the collaboration between designers and developers. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Background in computer science/engineering or web design with 5+ years of coding experience A strong interest in both design and UI/UX development Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, Javascript and responsive web design. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to work in a global team Preferred technical and professional experience Experience with UX design tools, UI mockups, and/or website design Desirable to have experience with Carbon JS. CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less, Stylus) Front-end development best practices Building accessible and localized user interfaces Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
