SAP SCM Consultant (Rollout / Localization Project)

Duration: September to December 31^st.

Location: 100% REMOTE (UK Shift Timings)

About the role:

My Client A leading global pharmaceutical company is preparing for the upcoming currency transition in Bulgaria (BGN to EUR). This requires adapting and rolling out existing SAP S/4HANA systems to ensure smooth supply chain operations across procurement, logistics, and finance integration.

Responsibilities:

• Support the rollout of global SAP SCM templates to local Bulgarian operations.
• Ensure accurate handling of currency change impacts in procurement, material management, pricing, invoicing, and reporting.
• Work closely with Finance (FI/CO) teams to align supply chain and financial processes.
• Configure and test SAP MM/SCM processes to ensure compliance with pharma and regulatory standards.
• Provide end-user support and training during cutover and go-live.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in SAP SCM / MM (Procurement, P2P, Logistics Execution).
• Strong rollout / localization project experience, preferably in Europe.
• Knowledge of currency handling, tax, and integration with FI.
• Experience in life sciences or pharma industry is a plus.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Ideal Profile:

·       SAP SCM functional consultant (MM/SD focus, with integration knowledge).

·       Experience in life sciences / pharma (helps in regulatory and validation-heavy environments).

·       Hands-on in rollouts, upgrades, or localization projects (currency, tax, regulatory).

·       Strong communicator for cross-functional work (since finance, supply chain, and IT all need alignment here).

Looking for MM + SD functional expertise, rollout experience - exposure to localization/currency changes in pharma/life sciences are highly preferred.
