Title: SAP QM Consultant

Location: Mumbai & Bangalore, India - Hybrid

Employment Type: Contract to Hire (C2H)

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Preferred

Role:

We are seeking a skilled SAP QM Consultant who have strong experience in quality planning, inspection, notifications, and audit management within SAP environments (ECC or S/4HANA). The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality process alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to quality management processes.
• Configure SAP QM module including quality planning, inspection, and notifications.
• Set up inspection types, sampling procedures, inspection plans, and result recording.
• Integrate QM with other SAP modules like MM, PP, and PM.
• Support implementation, rollouts, and production support activities.
• Handle quality certificates, audit management, and quality notifications.
• Create functional specifications for custom developments.
• Conduct testing, user training, and create process documentation.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP QM module configuration and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of quality inspection, planning, and notification processes.
• Hands-on experience in ECC or S/4HANA environments.
• Experience in at least one full lifecycle implementation and multiple support projects.
• Good understanding of integration with SAP MM, PP, and PM modules.
• Experience with defect recording, usage decisions, and quality certificates.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Indian localization and regulatory compliance for quality.
• Experience with SAP Fiori apps or SAP QIM (Quality Issue Management).
• Familiarity with audit trail requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• SAP QM certification (optional but preferred).
