SAP Project Lead

As a SAP ABAP Engineer at STL Digital, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end development of applications for SAP GOC services team. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding business and functional requirements and translating them into technical solutions. - Designing, coding, testing, and documenting applications. - Demonstrating the ability to multi-task and handle time-sensitive issues effectively. - Establishing strong IT value to the business, accelerating project delivery, and improving quality. - Flexibility to work on functional incident fix in the SD area. - Proficiency in ABAP ON HANA functionalities and conversant with the same. Requirements for this role include: - Strong technical experience with 3 to 5 years in ABAP development, including a strong working knowledge of ABAP development and Advanced ABAP (Object-Oriented Programming). - Understanding of ABAP on HANA and supporting during the transition phase to HANA. - Ability to understand existing ECC code and make it relevant to HANA S4 system independently. - Proficiency in debugging production issues quickly and efficiently. - Functional knowledge of SD / HANA. - Hands-on experience in Reports, Module Pool, Sap Scripts, Forms, ALV Reports, ALE/IDOC, service gateway/integrations, BADIs, BAPI's, Transactions, SAP Queries, Object-Oriented programming. - Exposure to SAP UI5, S4 HANA, HTML, SAP Service Gateways, RESTFUL Services. - Knowledge in SAP functional areas with an understanding of SAP finance, Logistics. - Providing end-user support in ECC and working with stakeholders to provide end-to-end resolution. - Experience in implementation, upgrade, and support projects. - Understanding of release and change management processes. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including interpersonal and client-facing interactions. - Openness and flexibility to learn new skills as required. - Flexibility to work on SD functional issues when needed. - Desirable experience working with ServiceNow and JIRA. Qualifications required for this role include: - A degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. - 3 to 5 years of work experience in the IT field as an individual contributor.
