SAP Operations Engineer – GCP & HANA

Location:

Pune (Hybrid)

4 to 9 Years

Role Overview

We are hiring a SAP Operations Engineer with expertise in SAP HANA and GCP to manage, monitor, and optimize SAP landscapes deployed on cloud. This role will focus on ensuring uptime, performance, and operational efficiency of business-critical SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor SAP systems deployed on GCP, including S/4HANA and HANA DB
  • Perform routine maintenance, health checks, and patching activities
  • Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and escalation procedures
  • Collaborate with GCP infrastructure and SAP Basis teams for continuous optimization

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience managing SAP environments on GCP
  • Deep understanding of SAP HANA administration and HA/DR setups
  • Proficiency with SAP system monitoring tools and logs

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automation tools and alerting frameworks (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus)
  • Familiarity with backup/recovery processes and GCP IAM/roles

Soft Skills

  • Process-driven, dependable, and collaborative
  • Proactive in identifying operational improvements
