SAP Material Management (MM) Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

SAP MM Implementation & Configuration:

• Implement, configure, and support the SAP MM module in line with client requirements.
  
• Set up and maintain

  Material Master Data

  ,

  Vendor Master Data

  ,

  Purchasing Groups

  ,

  Purchasing Organizations

  ,

  Pricing Procedures

  , and related settings.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, design efficient MM solutions, and document configuration details.
  
• Integrate the MM module with other SAP components such as

  FI (Financial Accounting)

  and

  CO (Controlling)

  .

Testing, Training & Support:

• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper module functionality.
  
• Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to end users.
  
• Deliver ongoing post-implementation support including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and enhancement deployment.
  
• Create and maintain user manuals, process flows, and technical documentation.
  

Process Improvement & Continuous Development:

• Evaluate existing MM processes and propose system or process improvements.
  
• Work with clients to streamline procurement, inventory, and logistics operations using SAP MM best practices.
  

Additional (Preferred) Technical Skills:

• Understanding of routing protocols such as

  MPLS, HAIPE/IP, QoS, and WAN

  .
• Experience with

  web security gateways

  ,

  perimeter security

  ,

  network access controls

  , and

  endpoint security

  .
• Familiarity with developing and implementing

  cybersecurity response processes

  and

  incident recovery protocols

  .
• Mentor and support junior security or technical team members.
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science

  ,

  Information Technology

  , or a related field.
• Minimum

  5+ years

  of experience in SAP MM implementation, configuration, and support.
• Strong communication, analytical, and client-facing skills.
  

• SAP MM Certification

  is preferred but not mandatory.
