We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and management of the SAP PM module within our ERP environment. The role focuses on optimizing asset management, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability to ensure minimal downtime and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will possess both strong functional knowledge and hands-on technical expertise in SAP PM processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. SAP PM Implementation & Configuration Design, implement, and configure SAP PM solutions for asset management, preventive and corrective maintenance, and equipment tracking. Set up and maintain equipment master data, maintenance plans, notifications, work orders, and historical records. Integrate and optimize SAP PM with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management) , SD (Sales & Distribution) , and FI/CO (Finance & Controlling) . 2. Business Process Analysis & Mapping Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional SAP PM configurations. Analyze existing maintenance processes and recommend improvements using SAP best practices. 3. Support & Troubleshooting Provide ongoing support for SAP PM users, including issue resolution and system troubleshooting. Conduct user training sessions on SAP PM features, workflows, and maintenance reporting. 4. System Upgrades & Enhancements Participate in SAP PM upgrades, enhancements, and patch testing. Validate system functionality post-updates to ensure smooth operations. 5. Maintenance Reporting & Analytics Develop and manage reports on maintenance costs, equipment downtime, and performance metrics. Utilize SAP reporting tools such as SAP Query , BI , or Fiori for analytics and insights. 6. Integration & Data Management Ensure seamless integration between SAP PM and other enterprise applications. Oversee data migration, validation, and cleansing to maintain data integrity. 7. Compliance & Documentation Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, enhancements, and standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with maintenance and safety standards across all processes. 8. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve maintenance workflows and system performance. Propose and implement process optimizations and automation within SAP PM. Key Skills & Competencies: SAP PM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of core components Equipment Master Data, Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, and Notifications. Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of plant maintenance operations in asset-intensive industries. Technical Skills: Proven ability to configure and customize SAP PM and integrate with related modules. Analytical Mindset: Skilled in reporting, data interpretation, and performance tracking.
