Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled

SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Specialist

to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of MDG systems across multiple domains

Customer, Supplier, Material, and Finance

. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and efficient data management aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain
SAP MDG systems
for Customer, Supplier, Material, and Finance master data.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to
gather requirements
and design effective MDG solutions.
Implement
data models, workflows, and business rules
to ensure strong governance and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve
technical issues across MDG domains.
Conduct
data quality audits
and implement corrective measures.
Stay current on
industry best practices
and data governance trends.
Provide
training and user support
across business units on MDG processes.
Create and maintain
technical and process documentation
(data dictionaries, user guides, etc.).
Integrate MDG with enterprise systems using
SAP PI/PO, APIs, or other middleware
.
Implement and monitor
data security and compliance protocols
.
Participate in
project planning
and offer technical expertise for data initiatives.
Continuously
enhance MDG performance and scalability
to meet evolving business needs.
Serve as a
subject matter expert (SME)
in data governance, mentoring junior team members.
Maintain a solid understanding of
business processes and their master data dependencies
.
Communicate effectively with
stakeholders across all levels
to ensure successful MDG adoption.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management
, or related field.
Proven experience with
SAP MDG
or similar data governance platforms across multiple domains.
Strong understanding of
data governance principles
,
data modeling
, and
workflow design
.
Hands-on experience in managing
Customer, Supplier, Material, and Finance master data
in large enterprises.
Excellent
problem-solving, analytical, and communication
skills.
Familiarity with
data security and compliance
frameworks.
Ability to work
independently and collaboratively
in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills:

SAP MDG certification
or equivalent credentials.
Experience in
technology or consulting
environments.
Knowledge of
integration tools
(SAP PI/PO, APIs).
Exposure to
data quality tools and methodologies
.
