SAP MDG Specialist

As a SAP MDG Technical Consultant, your role will involve acting as the SAP MDG Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support MDG projects and DevOps squads in their daily activities. Your key responsibilities will include configuring and customizing MDG BP/Customer/Vendor objects, supporting testing phases, providing technical resolutions for incidents, collaborating with functional teams and stakeholders, and ensuring seamless integration between SAP MDG & ECC. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the SAP MDG Technical SME to support MDG projects and DevOps squads. - Configure and customize MDG BP/Customer/Vendor objects including data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling. - Support testing phases (IST & UAT), user training, and ensure solutions meet business requirements. - Analyze incidents, provide technical resolutions, and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues. - Collaborate with functional teams, business users, and IT stakeholders to design, enhance, and maintain robust solutions. - Ensure seamless integration between SAP MDG & ECC, including inbound/outbound interfaces, master data enrichment, and error management. Desired Skills & Experience: - 5+ years of experience as an SAP MDG Technical Consultant with a focus on implementation, incident & change management. - Hands-on experience with SAP MDG and ERP tools. - Strong knowledge of SAP SD/MM processes. - Understanding of IDoc, XML, and data flow elements. - Familiarity with ABAP and Fiori coding. - Excellent communication skills with client-facing exposure. - Team player with experience in Agile/DevOps environments.
