Job Title: MDG Functional Consultant SAP SDLocation: ITPL, Bengaluru (Hybrid 3 days/week from office)Experience: 7+ YearsJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing master data governance processes for customer and sales-related data, ensuring alignment with business operations and compliance standards. This role demands deep functional knowledge of SAP MDG and SD, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead the functional design and implementation of SAP MDG solutions focused on the SD domain.Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.Configure and customise SAP MDG to support customer and sales master data processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP SD and other modules.Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Provide ongoing support and enhancements for SAP MDG-SD solutions.Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across master data domains.Document functional designs, process flows, and configuration details.Mandatory Skills:Strong functional expertise in SAP MDG with hands-on experience in Customer and Sales Master Data (SD).Proven experience in SAP SD processes including order management, billing, and customer master data.Experience in SAP MDG configuration, data modelling, and process design.Understanding of data governance principles and master data lifecycle.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred Skills:Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and its integration with MDG.Familiarity with workflow design, BRF+, and Fiori in MDG.Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project tracking tools.Experience in cross-functional SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, CRM).Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.7+ years of experience in SAP functional consulting, with a focus on MDG and SD.SAP certifications in MDG or SD are a plus.
