Were looking for Analyst with expertise in SAP R/3 or S4 Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) to join our Practice. The SAP JVA Consultant/Analyst is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the SAP JVA module within an organization. The SAP JVA Consultant/Analyst collaborates with various stakeholders, including finance, IT, and business teams, to streamline upstream operational financial accounting reporting processes. Your key responsibilities
SAP JVA Implementation and S/4 upgrade to meet the organizations needs. Ensure proper integration with other SAP modules and systems. Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process optimization and automation within Joint venture accounting and reporting. Propose and implement solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. Good knowledge of FICO, P2P process, Integration of PRA with FI-JVA, Asset Management, PS/IM, Internal Orders. Candidate must have solid understanding of on S/4 based Joint venture accounting and includes the JVA master data setup which includes (Partners, JOA/ JV's, Equity Types Recovery Indicator/ Billing Indicator, Cost Object types) for operated and non-operated scenario with Third party integrations. Good understanding integration with Third party solution with SAP FICO and JVA Hands on experience on key JVA Process Cutback Equity Adjustments Billing Bank Switching Netting Cash Call PCO RXD 9 Allocations CollaborationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and legal departments, to align revenue accounting practices with business goals and strategies. Participate in designing the SAP FICO Solutions for the customers / clients. Ability to assess the SAP control environment/configuration and benchmark it with the standard SAP config. Have a control mind-set and bring ideas about automating controls using SAP. Build strong internal relationships within the firm and with other services across the organization. Ability to identify gaps and provide estimate of efforts needed to fix them using SAP.
Skills and attributes for success
The candidate should be able to drive the technical solution of SAP FICO projects in SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA Should also understanding SAP PS and SAP MM module with operational accounting for Capex and Opex Candidate should be able to guide the team and communicate effectively with client and manage the projects with due balance of scope, cost time.
To qualify for the role, you must have.
12+ years of recent relevant work experience. Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proven experience in implementing and configuring SAP JVA or other SAP modules. Strong understanding of upstream Finance operations, Partner accounting with operated and non-operated scenarios Knowledge of SAP Financials, SAP S/4HANA, and related modules is a plus.
Good to have.
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus. SAP JVA certification . Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
