Position: SAP HANA EHS Consultant

Location : Remote

The primary objective of this scope of work is to optimize the Customer defined SAP S/4 HANA

EAM Maintenance KPI reports to improve performance and execution efficiency while ensuring

alignment with customer requirements and data accuracy.

The four SAP S/4 HANA EAM Maintenance KPI’s Fiori apps to optimize are:

1 Work Order Compliance

2 Preventive Work Order Compliance

3 Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) PM Work Order Compliance

4 Corrective WO vs. PM WO Completion Ratio Identifying the Optimization Requirements:

Review the Structures, Cubes, CDS Views, queries and configurations of the four

KPI reports as listed 

Identify performance bottlenecks and root causes of long execution times.

Ensure queries handle large datasets efficiently in the Production environment.

Optimizing the Queries:

Refactor and optimize the queries of the four KPI reports.

Testing and Validating the System:

Validate optimized reports in a test environment to ensure performance gains without

compromising data accuracy.

Perform testing in the production environment for final confirmation

Enhancing Report Functionality:

Implement dynamic filtering and indexing techniques where applicable to further

improve runtime.

Delivering Knowledge Transfer:

Provide training to the maintenance and reporting teams on the changes made.

Ensure all stakeholders understand the optimized report functionality and

maintenance process.

Providing Technical Documentation:

Document all changes made to the KPI reports, including query optimizations,

configurations, and technical details.

Provide a user-friendly guide for maintaining and troubleshooting the optimized

reports.

• Optimized and executable Maintenance KPI reports in the SAP S/4 HANA Production

system.

• Validation of System test results demonstrating improved performance and accuracy.

• Detailed technical documentation outlining changes and configurations.

• Completed Knowledge transfer sessions for relevant teams.
