IT Business Analyst

Role Overview: As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting and translating business requirements from internal customers into functional and non-functional requirements for software development teams or vendors. Your role involves acting as a liaison between business users and technical staff to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements. Additionally, you will participate in the development or procurement process, translating business needs into system requirements and change requests. Applying best practices to elicit, analyze, document, validate, and communicate requirements, business processes, and business rules will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. You will also document technical design and prototype components to effectively translate business requirements into functional requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Elicit and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements - Act as a liaison between business users and technical staff - Participate in the development or procurement process - Apply best practices to elicit, analyze, document, validate, and communicate requirements - Document technical design and prototype components Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline - Completion of formal training in Business Analysis, including Requirements Elicitation and User Acceptance Testing - At least three years of experience providing Business Analysis for Software Implementations with a focus on IT and technical projects - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & MS Project) and related productivity tools In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will be required to supervise cross-functional teams handling project-related assignments. You will ensure the development and maintenance of technical skills and knowledge of bank products/services. Demonstrating service sensitivity, providing expert IT consultative services, and driving innovations or improvements in specialty areas are also expected from you.
