Job Description

Role Overview

Sr. SAP FICO Consultant


Key Responsibilities

  • Capture 

    As-Is processes

     in MS Excel and document end-to-end process flows.
  • Identify gaps and design optimized 

    To-Be processes

     leveraging 

    S/4HANA best practices

    .
  • Build 

    process blueprints

     aligned with industry standards and Oil & Gas business requirements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand financial and controlling processes (O2C, P2P, RTR, Asset Accounting, Joint Venture Accounting etc.).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to map 

    SAP codes against business processes

     and ensure accurate configuration.
  • Provide inputs and validation for migration from legacy systems to 

    S/4HANA

    .
  • Utilize 

    Signavio

     for process modeling and documentation (knowledge preferred; training support available if required).
  • Act as a techno-functional consultant by combining 

    business process expertise

     with 

    SAP system knowledge

    .
  • Support testing, training, and deployment activities to ensure successful process adoption.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience, preferably in the 

    Oil & Gas

     sector.
  • Hands-on experience in 

    S/4HANA Finance

     (must have participated in at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation or migration).
  • Strong understanding of 

    business processes

     in Finance & Controlling and their mapping to SAP.
  • Ability to document processes in Excel, prepare 

    blueprints

    , and work on gap analysis.
  • Familiarity with 

    Signavio

     or other process modeling tools (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong techno-functional knowledge:
  • Understanding of 

    SAP configuration

     in FICO.
  • Ability to interpret 

    SAP codes and transactions

     against processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas industry financial processes (e.g., revenue accounting, JVA, asset lifecycle management) is highly desirable.
