SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive review of existing SAP systems and business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct system and process assessments to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop comprehensive roadmap for implementing identified improvement opportunities including detailed timelines, milestones, dependencies.
• Develop a comprehensive roadmap for transitioning to SAP S/4 HANA ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for SAP S/4 HANA implementation and optimization.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements, translating them into effective SAP solutions.
• Document and communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and management.
• Review system configuration and ensure it is as per defined solution and covers all business requirements for SAP FI module, including GL, AP, AR, Banking and Asset Accounting.
• Provide functional expertise and guidance in the design, configuration, and testing of SAP S/4 HANA solutions and data migration.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4 HANA trends, best practices, and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP FICO functional consulting, with 2 end-to-end SAP implementations including SAP S/4 HANA.
• Expertise in SAP FI module and sub modules with strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes in SAP.
• Experience in S/4 HANA migration or transition projects is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• SAP FI certification is a plus.
