SAP FI Consultant

This is a remote position.

As an SAP FI Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise in SAP Financials to support the organization's financial processes and reporting. Collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP FI modules to ensure alignment with business goals.

It's important to highlight that this position operates on an on-call basis rather than being a traditional full-time role. Please note that this position does not guarantee a minimum number of hours per week, but keep in mind we are looking for a longer-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation and Configuration: Configure SAP FI modules based on business requirements.
• Lead or participate in SAP FI implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope and timelines.
• Financial Process Optimization: Analyze existing financial processes and recommend improvements leveraging SAP FI capabilities.
• Work closely with users to understand their needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Integration: Collaborate with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP CO, MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration with financial processes.
• Provide expertise on financial data flows within the SAP landscape.
• Documentation and Support: Document configuration and write SOPs (in Confluence) to enhance end-users' proficiency in SAP FI.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FI-related issues.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of financial governance policies.

• Hands-on experience with SAP FI module implementation, configuration, and support
• Proven expertise in integrating SAP FI with other modules (e.g., CO, MM, SD)
• Strong understanding of financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and financial reporting
• Experience in analyzing and optimizing financial workflows using SAP solutions
• Proficiency in documenting configurations and creating user documentation, preferably in Confluence or similar tools
• Comfortable working as

  an independent contractor.
