Position - SAP BTP Developer/ABAP Developer

Location - Pune/Nagpur

Duration - Full time

Office Hours: UK/USA EST

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, cloud-native applications on SAP BTP using the

  Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)

  with Node.js or Java.
• Develop and extend business applications and microservices using SAP CAPM, leveraging

  Core Data Services (CDS)

  for data modeling and service definitions.
• Build and maintain user interfaces using

  SAP Fiori/UI5

  , adhering to modern design principles and ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience.
• Create and manage

  OData services

  for application-to-application communication.
• Integrate SAP BTP applications with on-premise and cloud SAP systems, including

  SAP S/4HANA

  , using tools like SAP Cloud Connector and various BTP services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, architects, and IT operations) to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design and implement

  Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

  for BTP applications to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Perform

  SAP BTP subaccount administration

  , including service setup, environment management, and space management, to ensure a well-organized development landscape.
• Ensure the organization and management of development artifacts and configurations within the BTP environment.
• Participate in all phases of the

  Agile development lifecycle

  , from requirements gathering to testing and support.
• Maintain a strong understanding of emerging SAP BTP services and cloud development best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven proficiency in

  SAP BTP services

  , tools, and capabilities, with a focus on the Cloud Foundry environment.
• Hands-on experience in developing applications with

  SAP UI5

  or the

  Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)

  .
• Strong understanding of

  OData services

  and

  SAP Fiori design principles

  .
• Knowledge of

  SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)

  and experience with either Node.js or Java.
• Experience with development tools such as

  SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)

  and

  Git

  .
• Ability to work in an

  Agile

  and collaborative environment, delivering within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a remote team setup.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP BTP

  or

  SAP Workzone certifications

  .
• Experience in integrating SAP BTP applications with

  SAP S/4HANA

  or other SAP systems.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and

  DevOps

  tools on SAP BTP.
• Prior experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for BTP applications, leveraging tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or SAP CI/CD service.
