Job Summary:

Our client, a leading consulting firm in the Data & Digital space, are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BusinessObjects Consultant to manage BO platform administration, basic report development, and system optimization. The role includes end-to-end BO lifecycle management, ensuring platform stability, and supporting business teams with reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain SAP BO servers and services
Manage user security, access controls, and SSO (AD / SAML)
Perform server health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning
Develop and maintain WebI, Crystal Reports, and Dashboards
Work with Universes (UNX/UNV) using IDT/UDT
Manage report scheduling, publication, and bursting
Handle migrations across Dev/QA/Prod using Promotion Management/LCM
Troubleshoot BO platform, report, and connectivity issues
Collaborate with business users for reporting requirements
Maintain system documentation and SOPs
Support upgrades, patching, and SSL/Tomcat configurations

Required Skills

4-6 years of SAP BusinessObjects administration and basic development
Strong knowledge of BO architecture (CMS, APS, WebI, FRS, etc.)
Experience with IDT/UDT and Universe design
Good SQL and database connectivity knowledge (ODBC/JDBC)
Experience with BO upgrades and content migrations
Familiarity with Windows Server, Tomcat, and SSL setup
Strong troubleshooting & communication skills
