Job Title: SAP BASIS Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP BASIS Consultant with 5 to 7 years of experience to manage the administration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in system installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across various SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and other SAP applications.

• Perform system upgrades, migrations, and patch applications (Support Packages, Kernel updates, Enhancement Packs).

• Manage SAP system performance tuning, capacity planning, and database administration (SAP HANNA, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.).

• Handle SAP transport management (CTS, ChaRM) and system refreshes.

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide Level 2/3 support for SAP landscapes.

• Work on SAP Cloud solutions, including SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, and GCP-based SAP deployments.

• Implement SAP security best practices and manage user roles, authorizations, and compliance.

• Collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless SAP operations.

• Support system monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery planning.

• Maintain documentation of system configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of SAP BASIS experience, including hands-on administration and support.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA system administration and migration projects.

• Knowledge of HANA database administration and performance optimization.

• Experience in SAP system upgrades, support packs, and patch management.

• Understanding of SAP Solution Manager, transport management, and system refresh processes.

• Exposure to SAP Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAP BTP).

• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in resolving SAP system issues.

• Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems.

• Good understanding of networking, load balancing, and high availability (HA/DR) concepts.
