SAP Basis Consultant

In your role as a SAP Basis Expert at Westernacher, you will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end SAP technical operations, including installation, upgrade, migration, and performance tuning across SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and Java-based SAP components. You will lead and support the implementation of RISE with SAP projects, administer and monitor SAP Business Technology Platform environments, set up and manage Single Sign-On for SAP landscapes, collaborate closely with functional, development, and infrastructure teams, oversee transport management, engage in architecture design and deployment of hybrid SAP landscapes, support SAP system audits, and participate in Change and Release Management. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and execute end-to-end SAP technical operations - Lead and support implementation of RISE with SAP projects - Administer and monitor SAP Business Technology Platform environments - Set up and manage Single Sign-On for SAP landscapes - Collaborate closely with functional, development, and infrastructure teams - Oversee transport management, client administration, and job scheduling best practices - Engage in architecture design and deployment of hybrid SAP landscapes - Support SAP system audits and compliance reviews - Participate in Change and Release Management and integration scenarios Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of SAP BASIS experience - Experience with HANA or S/4HANA implementations and SAP installations/migrations - Strong understanding of ABAP and Java stacks - Hands-on experience with SAP BTP cockpit, SSO, and Identity Provider integration - Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and EarlyWatch - Comfortable with SAP performance tuning and database-level troubleshooting - Exposure to SAP licensing metrics and S/4HANA readiness is a plus If you join Westernacher, you can expect an inspiring and exciting, innovative working environment with a competitive remuneration package.
