Job Description

Salon Development Partner

Key Responsibilities

Sales & New Salon Business Development

  • Achieve assigned area sales targets and new business acquisition goals.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing salon partners to increase product and service adoption.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract new salon partners and expand Avedas salon footprint.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to identify growth opportunities, track performance, and address challenges.
  • Maximize salon opportunities for cross-selling, up-selling, and launching new products.

Training & Education

  • Deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance salon teams’ product knowledge, sales capabilities, and customer engagement skills.
  • Create tailored education programs to meet the evolving needs of each salon.
  • Support salons in maintaining product and service excellence aligned with Aveda’s values and mission.
  • Provide business-driving tools such as benchmarking and SOAP planning.

Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain trusted partnerships with salon owners, managers, and staff.
  • Conduct regular salon visits to assess needs, provide guidance, and ensure operational success.
  • Address operational issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving

  • Analyse salon performance data to identify trends and create actionable improvement plans.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, offering insights to improve salon operations, services, and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions tailored to salon partner needs.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Strong relationship-building and networking capabilities.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and optimize performance through strategic planning.
  • Solid knowledge of the salon industry, including market trends and product offerings.
  • Skilled in training, coaching, and motivating salon teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong influencing abilities.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple salon accounts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in

    sales, business development, or salon management

    , with a focus on relationship and account management.
  • Strong understanding of the salon industry and passion for beauty and wellness.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Educational background in

    business, sales, or a related field

    preferred.
