Role Overview

SFMC Developer

Key Responsibilities

1. Development & Configuration

• Design and develop

  responsive email templates

  using HTML, CSS & AMPscript.
• Build and optimize

  customer journeys

  using Journey Builder.
• Implement

  Cloud Pages

  , custom forms, landing pages, microsites.

2. Personalization & Scripting

• Create dynamic content using

  AMPscript

  ,

  SSJS

  , and personalization strings.
• Build re-usable content blocks and automation logic.

3. Data Management

• Create & manage

  Data Extensions

  , data relationships, attribute groups.
• Write SQL queries for segmentation and automation activities.

4. Automation Studio

• Set up and manage automated workflows (imports, segmentation, triggered sends).

5. Integrations & APIs

• Work on

  Marketing Cloud Connect

  for CRM integrations.
• Integrate external systems using

  REST/SOAP APIs

  , SFTP, webhooks.

6. QA, Testing & Troubleshooting

• Conduct testing for email rendering, journey flow, automation performance.
• Troubleshoot campaign issues, data issues, and deployment problems.

7. Reporting

• Track KPIs such as email performance, conversion metrics, journey-level insights.

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience with

  Salesforce Marketing Cloud

• Strong skills in:

• AMPscript

• SSJS

• HTML/CSS

• SQL (Marketing Cloud SQL)

• Journey Builder & Automation Studio

• Experience with

  API integrations

  &

  Marketing Cloud Connect

• Contact Builder, Content Builder, Audience Builder, Cloud pages, Automation Studio
• Good understanding of data models and customer segmentation
• Strong debugging & problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Good to Have

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM
• Experience with Mobile Studio / WhatsApp / Push Notification campaigns
• Git, Postman experience
