We have immeidate opening for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer - Permanent role for Hybrid model.

Role Summary

Experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to enhance and maintain an existing Marketing Cloud org, implement and configure Marketing Cloud Personalization, validate integrations with Data Cloud/Data 360, and deliver Data Cloud setup and usecase integrations. The role combines handson technical delivery (data modelling, integrations, segmentation, personalization) with stakeholder-facing discovery, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance Marketing Cloud org: Implement enhancements and adjustments across Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder to support campaign and personalization needs.
  • Marketing Cloud Personalization: Lead setup and basic configuration of Marketing Cloud Personalization (collect, model, and activate behavioral and profile data).
  • Data Cloud / Data 360: Configure and verify connections between Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud; set up data flows and validate data integrity.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Build and maintain Marketing Cloud reports and dashboards to measure campaign performance and personalization impact.
  • Data Cloud org setup: Create users and permission sets by persona; connect data sources; prepare, model, and unify data; build insights and segmentation.
  • Integrations / Use Cases: Deliver integration use cases involving different data sources such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Social Media Engagement systems, Snowflake etc.
  • Testing & QA: Define test plans, perform unit and integration testing, and validate endtoend data flows and personalization rules.
  • Documentation & Handover: Produce runbooks, configuration documentation, and knowledge transfer materials for operations teams.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work with product owners, data engineers, BI teams, and marketing to complete discovery, scope work, and prioritize deliverables.

Required Technical Skills

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Strong handson experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Marketing Cloud Connect.
  • Marketing Cloud Personalization: Practical experience setting up and configuring Personalization (collect, model, activate).
  • Data Cloud / CDP: Experience with Data Cloud (Data 360) setup: user/permission management, data ingestion, modelling, unified profiles, insights, and segmentation.
  • Integrations: Experience integrating Snowflake (or similar data warehouses) with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud; familiarity with APIs, SFTP, and middleware.
  • Data skills: SQL proficiency for data modelling and segmentation; understanding of data schemas, identity resolution, and ETL concepts.
  • Scripting & Personalization Languages: AMPscript, SSJS, and familiarity with serverside scripting for dynamic content.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Ability to build dashboards and reports in Marketing Cloud or BI tools; interpret campaign and personalization metrics.
  • Version control & deployment: Familiarity with deployment best practices, change management, and release processes.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development or equivalent marketing automation roles.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications (preferred): Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer/Administrator, Salesforce Data Cloud or related certifications are a plus.
  • Domain experience: Prior work with healthcare, pharma, or regulated industries is advantageous for use cases like ConnectiveRx.

Behavioural & Collaboration Skills

  • Strong problemsolving and analytical mindset.
  • Clear communicator able to translate technical details for nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience running discovery workshops and scoping technical solutions.
  • Comfortable working in agile teams and delivering incremental value.
  • Attention to detail for data quality, testing, and documentation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Snowflake, dbt, or other modern data stack components.
  • Familiarity with Identity Resolution and Customer 360 concepts.
  • Experience with Journey Orchestration and crosschannel personalization strategies.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Case management integrations.
