Job Title: Marketing Cloud Business Analyst

Job Summary:

Marketing Cloud Business Analyst (BA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Marketing Cloud initiatives.
• Lead client workshops and discovery sessions to understand marketing goals, processes, and pain points.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and solution designs.
• Collaborate with Salesforce CRM teams to ensure seamless integration between CRM and Marketing Cloud.
• Develop data segmentation strategies, customer journeys, and personalized campaign workflows.
• Assist in creating documentation, training materials, and user guides for end-users.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-deployment validation.
• Provide recommendations to optimize marketing processes and improve campaign performance.
• Stay updated with Salesforce product releases and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, preferably in a marketing automation environment.
• Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (Growth or Advanced Editions a plus) and Salesforce CRM.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing channels (email, SMS, social, ads) and data-driven campaign management.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to lead meetings, present solutions, and build trusted relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and/or Administrator certifications are preferred but not required.
