Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Ford Motor Company's CRM team within the Global Marketing Operations Department as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Data Cloud Developer. Your role will be crucial in connecting marketing strategies with technical implementation, automating workflows, and creating personalized customer experiences across digital channels. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the complete lifecycle of marketing campaign development, including technical design, implementation, deployment, testing, and optimization. - Build and activate segments within Salesforce Data Cloud and create automation workflows in SFMC using advanced SQL, AMP script, and Server-Side JavaScript. - Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, designers, data analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution. - Design, develop, and deploy complex marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys using SFMC tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder. - Write, test, and optimize dynamic content with AMP script and SSJS for personalized emails and landing pages. - Develop responsive email templates, landing pages, and web forms for optimal rendering across devices. - Integrate SFMC with other platforms (Salesforce Sales Cloud, external databases, CRM systems) using APIs (REST, SOAP). - Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and implement A/B testing strategies for continuous optimization of customer engagement and ROI. - Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and email deliverability best practices. - Create and maintain technical documentation, campaign templates, and reusable assets to promote efficiency and consistency. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or similar marketing automation role. - Proven experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform - CDP). - Expert proficiency in SFMC modules: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder. - Strong command of AMP script and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) for dynamic content and advanced personalization. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive email and landing page development. - Demonstrated experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP) for SFMC. - Solid understanding of data modeling, data extensions, segmentation, and subscriber management in SFMC. - Experience in building personalized email content and designing customer journeys. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Self-starter with high initiative and detail-oriented. - Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification and/or Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification highly desired.
