As a Data and Technical Architect specializing in Salesforce Data Cloud at Horizontal Digital, you will be entrusted with a pivotal role as a leader in technical and data architecture within customer and partner engagements, ensuring the successful delivery of Data Cloud Projects. Your responsibilities will include shaping and leading project teams within the Salesforce Data Cloud space to set customers up for success. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will define technical vision, drive solution and data architecture, and seamlessly integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with enterprise systems. Your profound technical expertise in data architecture, integration, and advanced data strategies will be instrumental in helping organizations maximize the potential of their customer data. Your key responsibilities will include: - Facilitating and leading technical discovery workshops to outline detailed data architecture, integration requirements, and data ingestion strategies. - Synthesizing complex requirements into clear technical solution designs and collaborating with technical teams to document and implement them effectively. - Assessing current-state data ecosystems, contact/subscriber management, and identity resolution processes to define future-state architecture and perform gap analysis. - Refining, designing, and configuring complex data models in alignment with business processes, scalability, and best practices of Salesforce Data Cloud. - Collaborating with cross-functional data teams to design and implement data integration and migration strategies leveraging ETL tools, APIs, and middleware solutions. - Overseeing the execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions meeting client expectations. - Serving as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders, providing training on Salesforce Data Cloud and driving adoption within their teams. - Advocating for data governance best practices, including data privacy, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance frameworks. - Contributing to pre-sales activities, internal growth initiatives, and thought leadership development to scale Data Cloud expertise across the organization. - Managing multiple engagements simultaneously while balancing billable utilization and team leadership objectives effectively. Qualifications and Experience required: - 7+ years of client-facing consulting/professional services experience delivering enterprise-grade data solutions. - 3+ years of experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud or equivalent Customer Data Platforms (CDPs). - Strong background in data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and API-driven solutions. - Certifications in Salesforce Data Cloud and a solid understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem. - Experience in implementing data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance frameworks. - Expertise in identity resolution, subscriber management, and harmonizing data across systems for a unified customer view. - Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and expertise in agile delivery methodologies. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Industry experience in Financial Services, Health and Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Retail, or Hospitality. - Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree is a plus.
