JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Email Deliverability Specialist Job Location: India Role Type: Full time Reports to: Summary of the profile: The role of the Email Deliverability Specialist is to help Resulticks customers maximize their deliverability rates by monitoring their email campaigns, analysing inbox placement, recommending and helping implement best practices, and collaborating with the rest of the Resulticks Deliverability Team to ensure that both Resulticks as a company and its clients are always up-to-date with the most recent industry laws and regulations. What youll do here: Monitor and evaluate inbox placement for Resulticks customers. Responsible for client on-boarding process, MTA provisioning and configuration and IP/Domain Warm-up strategic planning and execution. Discuss the results of client-specific and/or company-wide deliverability matters with the rest of the Deliverability Team and collaborate on actions to be taken. Help create and maintain relationships with ISPs and other solutions providers to successfully troubleshoot deliverability problems. Contribute to the antispam/anti-abuse community, for example attending M3AAWG meetings and working committees. Ensure maximum inbox rate for clients by proactively monitoring reputation metrics through Google Postmaster and SNDS and providing inputs to achieve better results Work with the core product team and proposed various internal tools to monitor the deliverability of clients Provide consultation to clients on email industry best practices with respect to list acquisition, list maintenance, email design, Segmentation, and customer retention Monitor key campaign metrics like bounces, unsubscribes and spam complaints and optimize the campaigns to achieve best results Provide guidance to clients to ensure they are compliant with anti-spam law and regulations like CAN-SPAM Act, CASL, GDPR, SPAM Act (Australia) and CCPA Assist in creating and updating internal, deliverability-focused documentation for the rest of the team, and external "Deliverability Best Practices" documents for Resulticks clients. What you will need to thrive: At least 3-5 years of experience in email deliverability. Bachelors degree in IT Information Security or related field required. Existing relationships with ISPs and Postmasters. Familiarity with the policies and deliverability procedures at all the major US-based ISPs. Familiarity with RBL systems and whitelists. Hands-on technical knowledge of email authentication and filtering technologies. Thorough knowledge of email marketing best practices. Familiarity with privacy laws and anti-spam regulations, even at the international level. Good experience with Linux, DNS administration and SMTP. A technical knowledge of mail servers is a plus (Postfix, Port25, Mdaemon, Message Systems etc.). Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Self-directed and motivated, with a passion for troubleshooting complex problems. Plan and execute on all Deliverability projects designed to increase inbox rates and Openers Warmup and Manage IP / domain reputation effectively Test the email html for rendering and inboxing issues across multiple ISPs Analyse and produce reports for various email activity Manage list hygiene Manage PMTA or any other MTA along with ESP management Manage eMail infrastructure and DNS Proactively identify potential opportunities for strategy improvements and growth. Proactively identify potential compliance issues. Manage a team of 5-8 people Own all best practices and general deliverability guidance. Skills Required: E-mail content, rendering and filtering technologies. Experience with email best practices, industry trends, deliverability, ISP standards and current regulations and legislation (can-spam, regional spam laws, etc.) Familiarity with the policies and deliverability procedures. Hands-on technical knowledge of email authentication and filtering technologies. Thorough knowledge of email marketing best practices. Familiarity with privacy laws and anti-spam regulations, even at the international level. High volume commercial/promotional email experience Experience in using Litmus email spam checker, eDatasource email analyst tools Ability to speak with Clients in India and Abroad Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Administrative and data analytics experience An excellent Problem Solver.
