About the Company

A Salesforce Developer designs, builds, and optimizes custom solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet specific organizational needs. This includes creating custom applications, configuring CRM workflows, and integrating Salesforce with external systems. Use Salesforce tools like Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning components to create tailored solutions. Developers help solve complex problems related to custom Salesforce development: platform customization, custom system integration, and app development for customers using both code and no-code tools.

About the Role

Position Purpose: A Salesforce Developer designs, builds, and optimizes custom solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet specific organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Custom Applications: Build applications tailored to the organization's needs, leveraging Salesforce's platform and tools.
  • Configure CRM Workflows: Customize Salesforce workflows to optimize business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Integrate Salesforce with External Systems: Connect Salesforce with other applications and systems to streamline data flow and enhance functionality.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Test and Debug Applications: Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Salesforce applications, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Maintain and Document Solutions: Keep Salesforce solutions updated, optimize performance, and provide documentation for ongoing maintenance and support.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer technical support to users and other developers within the organization.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science.
  • Technical certification in Salesforce Administration, Salesforce Developer-1, Salesforce Developer-2 (for Senior Role).
  • Experience: 6+ years of developer experience with Salesforce.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce products and services (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc).
  • High level of skill set in handling APEX classes, LWC and out of the box configuration, API, 3rd party integration like connecting with SAP, Azure etc.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Knowledge of the phases involved in software development, from planning to deployment.
  • Agile Methodologies: Understanding and experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum.
  • Version Control Systems: Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps for managing code.
  • Understanding of CRM Principles - Knowledge of CRM concepts and best practices.
  • Strong Coding Skills - Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Monthly Metrics Review: Project/task completion rate, system stability, incident logs.
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Post-project or sprint feedback on communication and value delivery.
  • Tool-Based Monitoring: Output from ServiceDesk, Azure DevOps, Git/CI logs (deployments), Salesforce logs.
  • Training & Certifications: New Salesforce certifications, ongoing professional development.
