Role Summary

The Salesforce Business Analyst serves as the critical bridge between business objectives and the technical capabilities of the Salesforce platform. This role involves leading requirements gathering, driving process optimization, performing declarative configuration, and ensuring the final solution delivers maximum business value and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements and Process Analysis:

• Stakeholder Consultation:

  Proactively consult with end-users, management, and key stakeholders to deeply understand business goals, pain points, and how processes can be optimized on Salesforce.

• Documentation & Mapping:

  Gather, analyze, and meticulously document current-state and future-state

  business process flows

  , data, reporting needs, and system requirements.

• Agile Collaboration:

  Lead the transformation of high-level needs into detailed

  User Stories

  complete with clear

  Acceptance Criteria

  , collaborating closely with the Product Owner.

2. Solution Design and Configuration:

• System Alignment:

  Support the Systems Analyst by aligning configured solutions with documented business requirements and technical feasibility.

• Declarative Platform Tasks:

  Independently perform light configuration and declarative tasks, including:

• User Record Management

  (e.g., profiles, permission sets).
• Creating and modifying

  Custom Fields, Page Layouts, Record Types, and Objects

  .
• Implementing basic

  Workflow, Validation Rules, and Flows/Process Builders

  .

3. Quality Assurance and System Maintenance:

• Testing Leadership:

  Develop comprehensive

  test scenarios

  and coordinate/oversee

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  to ensure the developed solution meets all business criteria.

• Defect Management:

  Support the resolution of defects and technical issues identified during testing and production.

• Platform Readiness:

  Monitor Salesforce release notes, proactively prepare the organization for platform changes, and share knowledge with internal teams.
